Well then why is your staff saying its in the works?

You are now chatting with Sonal (Sales)

Sonal: Hi Philip.
Sonal: How can I help you?
Philip: Hi. I chatted with one of your sales rep about 9 hours ago.
Sonal: Okay.
Philip: I asked about integration and login share of WHMCS billing system. She said that it will be done in 3 weeks.
Philip: I currently use SupportSuite and it is integrated in my ModernBill. Unfortunately, I am going to switch to WHMCS.
Philip: So, I asked her about integration and she said in 3 weeks. When this happens, I will purchase your system to own.
Philip: I can not recall her name. She said to contact her.
Sonal: Okay.
Philip: Is it true what she said about 3 weeks it will be done?
Sonal: Let me check.
Philip: Thank you.
Sonal: Please wait for a moment.
Philip: Roger that.
Sonal: Yes, it will be done within the next 3 weeks as committed by Nancy
Philip: That's her name, lol.
Philip: How can I email her?
Philip: Do you have her email?
Sonal: Yeah ! Smile
Philip: Who is Nancy anyways? Is she the owner? Hehe.
Sonal: You can e-mail my Manager at raghav.arora@kayako.com
Sonal: No she is not.
Philip: I think that was her last name too, lol.
Sonal: Hahaha
Philip: Is it?
Sonal: Yes.
Sonal: A coincidence.
Sonal: Smile
Philip: I knew it.
Sonal: :0
Philip: Well, I will send an email to confirm all this.
Philip: Razz
Sonal: Sure Smile
Philip: I will tell the WHMCS community about what's happening. Is that alright?
Sonal: Anything else I can help you with?
Philip: Free advertising for you folks.
Philip: Smile That is all. Okay to tell the WHMCS?
Sonal: Please wait let me confirm Smile
Philip: Okay.
Philip: Neutral
Sonal: Initiate a chat later as our Manager is not available currently
Sonal: Sad
Sonal: I tried to contact him but could not Sad
Philip: It should be okay to tell them. It will only give you more customer.
Philip: You think?
Philip: Razz
Sonal: Hmmmmm............
Philip: Well, if she said 3 weeks, then it is, lol.
Philip: Razz
Philip: Tell your manager to stop smoking and get going with the integration and login share.
Philip: Razz
Sonal: Can you please initiate a chat later I'll confirm it once again for you and tell you whether or not to inform WHMCS regarding the same or not
Philip: When later?
Philip: It is 1am here, lol.
Philip: Didn't you confirm it with him about the 3 weeks?
Philip: Neutral
Sonal: Maybe after 5-6 hours
Philip: I'll be sleeping, lol.
Philip: So, are we still talking or I have to chat later? Neutral
Sonal: Please wait a moment
Philip: Just to let you know, this chat is recorded, lol.
Sonal: May be integration may take more time WHMCS developers are working on it.
Philip: I see. I thought it was on your end?
Philip: So, give or take 3-6 weeks?
Philip: You know I can not run 2 support system, lol. I would have to go with WHMCS. I still have a month with you. Love the live chat.
Sonal: I cannot commit. We will start working when they finish their side of work .
Philip: Nancy committed.
Sonal: We will try but I cannot commit.
Philip: Why can't you? lol
Sonal: Because I want to be sure...
Philip: Well, as long as you guys are working on it. It's all good for me.
Sonal: When I commit I keep my words.
Sonal: Smile
Philip: Can you commit to working on it?
Philip: Or commit to that it will happen by the time I reach 90?
Philip: lol
Philip: Razz
Sonal: We are definitely working on it Smile
Sonal: And it will be done but I cannot commit about the exact date.
Philip: Then, that is good news. I will still hold Nancy on what she said to me. Or else she is a liar, lol.
Sonal: No comments.
Sonal: All I can assure you is that we are working on it Smile
Sonal: Anything else I can help you with?
Philip: Cool. I will tell WHMCS. Tell your boss that he can fire me if he does not like it, lol. Razz
Philip: That is all. Thank you for you time. Have a great day!
Sonal: Bye.
Philip: Cheers!
Sonal: You too

Just an update: WHMCS LoginShare was installed and tested on my install. It works perfectly. I am choosing not to use it, however, as it makes it more confusing for the customers. Just so you all know it works, though...

Adam12,

I mistook what was being requested - LoginShare for WHMCS is indeed working, but I assumed he was asking for integration similar to that seen for ModernBill (beyond LoginShare).

Looks like I may be mistaken as well. From that chat log it looks like they are indeed going for a more full integration approach instead of just sharing a login. That would be a welcome addition for me, as long as things worked about the same.

Hi have just spoken with Mahesh.

Kayako are working in collaboration with a Matt and Adam from the WHMCS community for the Integration of SupportSuite with WHMCS. However, most of the development for this will rest with those from the WHMCS community because we do not have access to WHMCS code.

Mahesh is waiting to co respond with Matt and Adam and will update this thread accordingly.

Perhaps there has been some misunderstanding here, but Matt has posted this on the WHMCS forum on May 30 (maybe something more recent has transpired?):
Quote:
I certainly haven't been contacted about it, and am not doing any work on it, so exactly what are they waiting for from me!! Could be a long wait...

Hey,

Mahesh sent me an email. Asking for screenshots of what I have done and if I need any coding help to email her back.

I will take Mahesh up on the offer

I'm glad to see that this is going under way. WHMCS is by far the best billing system, in my opinion, and it is growing rapidly...

I do agree. ModernBill was going in the right direction but V5 sucks big time in my opinion.

I actually rather disliked v4, and like v5 a lot more - however I've never used it in a live environment, only the demo. I still like WHMCS over all the others.
