Better LoginShare with vBulletin - 23-09-2007, 05:58 PM

When using vBulletin loginshare, if someone logs into one or the other it should automatically log them into the other system as well. It doesn't make much sense to have to login twice with the exact same username and password...

That is something vBulletin would need to implement rather than Kayako.

vBulletin isn't designed to integrate with Kayako. It's the other way around.

Create a plugin for vBulletin that uses the login hook, and then on the Kayako side retrieve and set necessary vB login session data when logged in through Kayako's system

I am afraid there isn't enough support for this integration to warrant us investigating its possibilities. Moved here until then.

it is in theory possible already theres a setting in vbulletin that allows cookie setting across all domains in the admin cp of vb so in theory its already possible for it though only if its within the same domain
