Create billing account for users - 08-08-2007, 11:13 AM

It would be great if it was possible to give users a billing account.
Now you can set billing time for each ticket. That's nice but were not going to send an invoice for each ticket we solved.

Why not give a user a certain amount of time(or points) in advance (which he has to pay for first) and then take the used time off his account till it reaches zero.

Although it would be nice to have a better system for this, you can currently set "Time Worked" and "Billable" (the latter is for an amount figure I think) and then you can bill them later. These are on the bottom of the post reply section of a ticket.

fyi... The billable is a time number per the manual:

"Billable – the time (in minutes) that are billable."
It's also noted as "In Minutes" on the billable tab.

Features I need asap:
1) Ticket search in the client portal!
2) Column display in client portal showing clients email address or name
3) Downloads by client
(i.e. - each client has their own download area and can't see/touch downloads for any other client.) This would be on top of a "public" download area.
4) Integrated KB image uploads
The ability for staff to upload images with a KB articles.
