Custom Field as a Filter for SMS Alerts - 04-01-2008, 10:00 PM

Hi Guys,

In my case, I'm sure as in many others, I have a custom field (radio selection) where customers can select what type of support problem they are having. The last option is "Server is Down"

So I would need to be able to create an SMS Alert that includes custom fields as a filter. So when someone selects that their server is down, the tech on duty gets an sms.

This would be fantastic, and actually the reason why I purchased 100 sms,. but I came to the realization (too late and surprizingly) that this wasn't possible.

I want to toss this out and see what you think.

I think much more options, including Custom Fields, need to be available for SMS alerts and email for that matter. With SMS it is costing you per message so if you can limit it, thats better on the old wallet.
