new section: glossary of terms - 14-04-2007, 12:11 PM

hello,

I'm adding the poll to request a new feature, a new section, a glossary to add and delete words and meanings

Most knowledgebase have a glossary module. SupportTrio has it (www.activecampaign.com)

It would be very nice to have a Glossary or Dictionary with the ability to create multiple volumes for related topics.

IE: Glossary of Internet Terms
Glossary of XYZ Terms

Etc

Yep, definatly agree with this. It should be AJAX based and load the phrases on hover.

It would be a good feature although it is a tedious task to maintain it. Requires man power and time.

Well I suppose once you have added all your key words and phrases, thats it done. All you have to do is add new ones.

I would like to see this for tickets, knowledge base, trouble shooter and news articles.

Ok, threads merged. Any hope of this becoming part of Kayako in the near future or the future at all?

And I do agree:

1. Ajax would be great but not necessary for the first version.
2. Must be tied to other components of the Support Suite
3. Allow for related terms to be listed.
4. Allow for multiple volumes - One volume for X Topic and another for Y Topic

Thanks

Joe

Hi Joe,

There isn't really enough demand for this module to warrant a decision yet. The thread is here in the Think Tank to let the idea develop further as I recognise its potential, but the fesability of developing it isn't quite there yet.
