It would be cool like if on admin/index.php?_m=core&_a=editdepartment&departmentid=1 where it is a ticket based department it would show the direct link to that department that you could just copy and paste across (like http://www.example.com/helpdesk/inde...=submit&step=2 for example). This would just save that little bit extra time for new users. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

What I mean is it should give you the direct link on the admin departments page for you to link to without having to look up how to do it here on the forums. It would help the new users. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

Ah ok i missunderstood ![]() Easy stuff to code anyway (for the staff side i mean), you can add a quick link in the staff pannel when you're here: http://myexemple.com/staff/index.php...cketstatusid=0 3mins coding (see the module creation guide)For the client side, that's an other problem, or maybe does it work with no modifications with _GET method? I took a quick look at the code. $_REQUEST["departmentid"] They're using REQUEST (= GET + POST) ![]() -- I left kayako's community: do NOT contact me for job offers, thx -- |

I still don't think you understand Antoine. Look at http://www.craigbrasssystems.com/hel...=submit&step=1 as an example. When you go to that URL, it takes you right to Department 1. This is default Kayako functionality. What I am suggesting is Kayako put the link you would use when you view a department inside the admin area so users don't have to lookup the ID, lookup the url to use, etc. They can just copy and paste from the admin area.
