I have seen this issue in bits and pieces all over the forums of course. But from my experience, this could probably be handled in one sweep:

Generally, import/export is not handled very well in eSupport. That is, export from -> import into eSupport is fine, but any type of data exchange with other formats is simply not supported.

Yes, you do synchronize with Outlook, but that covers only so much.

Yes, on the other extreme is a full-blown import/export functionality. That is a bit task to implement.

However, perhaps as a middle-ground, a fairly simple data exchange with for example tab-delimited files would benefit a lot of people. Sure, you loose a lot of categorization, and things like that. But at least it is better than nothing at all. If this could be combined with a "mass action" type of arrangement for categorization, I believe that a lot of users would be very happy!

You already offer such a simple functionality for importing/exporting News Subscribers. But why not offer something like that for contacts, users, etc.?

Hi there,

I think it would be very handy to have a way to import users to the system. Especially if you are using the hosted version.

Also a more generic import/export module would be great.

Maybe it is possible to extend your product portfolio by adding
an extra service for direct database access to your hosted Kayako SupportSuite installation so you can easily integrated with other database driven software applications.

We need this feature soon! It would also be extreemly helpful to be able to set up a reports details on users such as last log-in, name, some custom fields, ticket numbers. It would be most helpful to be able to pull a mass report for everyone!
