Tickets -> Ability to link tickets together in some way - 17-09-2007, 04:15 AM

A way to group or link 'similar' tickets together (parent / child relationship) as opposed to merge. Or is there another suggested method to accomplish the same goal?

An example for use would be to link all tickets related to one problem but require individual responses. Another example would be for a project that has one master ticket but many subtask tickets.

We have a similar situation, where a project spins off into different sub-tasks.

Similarly, it would be neat to be able to hyperlink different Tickets together (for example, See Also).

I do not believe this is possible in the existing version. You can post a feature request for the same under the Feature Request section of the forums.

Also, a copy / duplicate / clone Ticket feature would be nice, when a single Ticket submission actually contains multiple Tickets, or when a Ticket branches off.
