I rustled this up really quickly. User can of course edit the CSS for the font size to get it even thinner, etc. Something like this...

hmm.. I get your point. But this may not suit the system. We usually like to see the entire contents of a ticket.

Expand or Collapse ALL - preferences. My graphic is a crude mockup User or Admin can set what they want to see. After about 5-10 long-winded replies, scrolling becomes a monster.

I am under the impression AJAX would not tax the server? If the user has a choice, it's up to them to decide their bandwidth preferences.

It's true that the most recent post is the most sought after. But then again, that's what you see when you roll over the ticket icon so it's a duplication of sorts. I would say it's a good feature but not at the top of Kayako priorities. They have a long list of must do's to get done first, I think

Hi Giray! I agree, this is more on the "Wishlist" rather than a strict feature request - there are a ton of requests that are better for core mods

To comment on the OverLib rollover: Expand/Collapse or Hide/ShowAll would hypothetically use AJAX in 2 these areas - (1) Mange Tickets (full conversations) in Staff and (2) Ticket Conversations in Client (user-end).

I'm finding some Ticket conversations can get lengthy. The Overlib or rollover would only show stats -- while an AJAX Expand/Collapse will hopefully better manage ticket conversations to reduce scrolling. It also should allow user/staff/admin to jump-to date and only open what they wish to see...
