Tickets -> UI -> Better placement of reply-with-quote button - 09-05-2007, 10:23 AM

All,

Kayako has the "Post Reply" Quote pull-down, offering either "Quote Client Posts" or "Quote All Posts".

Question:
Is there a way by which we can have a "Quote Most Recent Client Post" option ?.

I must agree with this feature request. All the forums support it and I see a lot of other custom built help desks have it now.

It would be handy if you could choose to highlight just a bit of a previous post too. This way if the client has asked many questions, you can separate each point with a quote and an answer under it.

1) Ticket search in the client portal!
2) Column display in client portal showing clients email address or name
3) Downloads by client
(i.e. - each client has their own download area and can't see/touch downloads for any other client.) This would be on top of a "public" download area.
4) Integrated KB image uploads
The ability for staff to upload images with a KB articles.

In the upper right corner of each post is a small blue icon. That will quote the post, or is it something else you're asking for here?

I feel dumb now lol. Didn't know that was there. Would be nice if it showed quoted tickets like in IPB / VB though in the ticket view on the client side.

Naturally, UI flaws will be corrected if not overhauled in Version 4.
