WHMCS LoginShare - 21-03-2008, 06:24 PM

Hi Jamie,

I would like to request a better loginshare module which can work with the WHMCS API to actually get things done.

Clients should be able to login directly to the support site rather than having to go to WHMCS.

If a client updates his email address in WHMCS, Kayako should use the new address for all future correspondance automatically.

Thank you.

Jamie has mentioned in another thread that this will be implemented in the next minor release (3.20.03).

Should this not be in the V3 Will Implement Jamie?

Kayako SupportSuite v3.20.02 + WHMCS v3.6.1 Integration Nightmare - 13-05-2008, 02:25 PM

This current integration attempt IS a step in the right direction. However, it DOES NOT function properly in its current state!!!! Make no mistake about it. And as much as I love Kayako, I LOVE WHMCS even more. My company is already looking at moving to the WHMCS integrated ticket system and finding another LIVE CHAT application.

In all due respect to the hard work that the developers have put into this product, it is really of little or no value if Kayako does not play nice with other applications. In my humble opinion Kayako has become the Microsoft Vista of the support software community. That's why I and my company switched to the MAC. And that is why we'll be leaving the Kayako community if this matter cannot be resolved. We've been waiting over one year for this integration to happen. I think everyone has been waiting patiently for this. Now it is time to deliver the goods or find yourselves in the same boat as ModernBill -- abandoned by your customers and bought out by someone else.

Just my humble opinion

I will agree, I have been waiting and have contemplated switching to WHMCS intergrated system. I can't believe Kayako never did the full fledge loginshare to begin with. It was really a 1/2 assed approach. After all that waiting on top of it.

Only a few more bugs left on Kayako Bug Tracker - Roadmaps so it shouldn't be long before it is implemented for the next version.
