Custom Field / Group: auto-add to email - 10-08-2007, 06:48 PM

For Custom Group and/or Custom Fields, could you add an option for "automatically adding this group/field to new Tickets via Mail Parser"?

Actually, since the Mail Parser creates User Tickets, the same Custom Fields as for User Registration and User Ticket Creation should be added to all Tickets that are created by the Mail Parser.

As such, this is not a feature request, but a bug, correct?

Weve asked for this for 18 months ! It would save us soooo much time.

We process 000's of tickets and have to manually link each to a custom field group...

We are the same way - 05-08-2008, 05:14 PM

We have to manually touch every ticket that is emailed to put our proper custom fields on it. This way we can utilize our custom reports. If this could actually hit AD and auto populate custom fields based off an LDAP query, that would be great for us.
