Filters -> No tickets found -> Don't show *any* tickets - 05-07-2006, 07:06 PM

I can't get the filters to work in staffCP. When I select the filter I have created, all tickets are displayed (unfiltered). Is there some kind of setting I have missed, or does everyone running 3.00.90 have this problem ?

Apparently they are re-witting the filters code. At least that what I was told 2 months ago.

With us the filters don't work if the result set is an empty set. You can test this by creating a filter where "Subject" should "equal" e.g. the following string "xqx". It will show all tickets instead of no tickets. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, but you still display the default (?) list, instead of an empty list.

It's a pretty small 1-line notice, and displaying the default list is quite confusing.

Also, this handling of "empty" filter lists is not consistent with, for example, the handling of empty label or department lists (which works as expected).

Bottomline: It's a small step in the right direction, but you can do better than this.
