Tickets -> UI -> Easy viewing customers 'account' info - 22-05-2007, 06:39 PM

Again I am playing witht the demo and I notice that when I open a ticket, I can see who submitted the ticket (Author/user), but I have no way of viewing more info about that person.
What I would like to be able to do is click on something, preferrably in the actual ticket, and go to the user 'account' info (e.g. phone number, business name, status of account with us..). I would like this to be able to be static and not just a note enterred or filled in by the staff or user each time they make a ticket.
I see there is a 'contacts' area in SupportSuite, where I can enter info like this for people, but I want to be able to link this static info to the tickets author and go to it by just a click through the ticket. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,

Aaron

I see exactly what you mean. Their should be a quick link to take you to ../staff/index.php?_m=core&_a=edituser&userid=IDHERE

Maybe move this into Feature Requests Jamie?

Nice one. Thanks Jamie!

This is certainly an easy to implement feature and a must in my opinion.

So is this something that can be tweaked now to make it work before it may be implemented in a new version? editing a template?

Thanks for your help,

Aaron

Looking for an update on this one - 12-12-2007, 01:35 AM

I am wondering if there has been any official word on this?
As well, does anyone know if there is a way to implement this in the meantime through editing any code or template?

Cheers,

Aaron

There hasn't been an official word on it yet, and won't be for a while as it is something that will feature in Version 4 of SupportSuite.

Did anyone come up with any ideas for editing the code to make this work?

I don't think so but it has been moved to "Will Implement in V4".
