Exclamation [V4] Multilingual Backend - 26-11-2006, 02:31 AM

Does anyone else here want Kayako's staff CP to be able to switch between languages? In other words, offer staff users to option to choose their staff CP's interface language.

Right now Admin CP and Staff CP can only support one single language at a time. Let's say you do business in Canada, US and Mexico, and have customer service in all those 3 areas, your staff's efficiency would increase if you were able to offer the Staff/Admin CP in their native language (French, English, Spanish)

Varun said this is possible IF there are demands for this feature. Please vote on this if you'd like to see this in SupportSuite/eSupport.

*Kayao, I think this poll only had one view, and one vote (from me to support the multilingual backend) How come the moment I add my vote, it shows up as one vote for multilingual and one vote against it)

Can somebody from Kayakl check this out? Thanks.

Kayako,
This is a very crucial feature for us. If you release the language variable from the encrypted swift code, we can even code the change for you!

I need this feature as well. I do like this product and do not understand why someone would make the effort of making the frontend multilingual but not the backend.

Caitlyntw - Please let me know if you found a solution for this as I am getting desperate.

This feature has been discussed with developers and will be implemented in Version 4. It is undecided as to whether flat-files will be used or database-driven phrasing will be used.
