Teamwork--Cumulative Tasks or Events are they possible ?--Help please

HI,

Basically My initial doubt is What is the difference between an Event and a Task ?

When to use what ?

Are Cumulative or Reoccuring tasks or Events be put in team work ?
Like I want a patch management task every 1st of every Month ,Its due date would be 3 rd of that same month. So I want a single task recursive. Is this there ?

Is Teamwork anywhere related to Tickets ? Can I link a ticket with teamwork event or a task for audit purpose ?

Hi,

Events are like your Work Schedule manager and Tasks are like your To Do list. You can not create cumulative tasks or events yet and they are related to Tickets.
We are revamping our Teamwork module and you will see this in our upcoming builds.

so do i understand this correctly, that you cant create a repeating task or event? because that's pretty useless, then.

Great application, nice features so far.

but yes, we also bought SupportSuite thinking this feature was available, im not sure how we missed it in our evaluation.

how can we get this added in? any one know of any mods for this? will pay.

Recurring tasks are being implemented for v4 teamwork. I'm not actually entirely sure what a cumulative task is; if this means tasks which won't close until other tasks are completed (like child tasks), then that's going in too.
