If you find anything strange or particular, please let me know so I can update mine as well... Attached the exported language xml for Dutch. Enjoy. P.S.: Varun - might be interesting to allow .XML files to be uploaded on these forums though! ![]() |

He means when you type Financiën in your language file, on screen it will show up as Financi뮼 He would like to know how you type an ë or an ï so it shows normally. And so would I ![]() MarcelC |

That would be your meta tag <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" /> I had the same problem in french with é, è, à they came out all weird. Changed my metatag and now i'm ok. I'm not sure what the correct tag would be though for Dutch since i don't speak a word of it. |

Do I also have to insert a new template group for the new language? ![]() I have changed the charset in the language settings, but the page source still shows me: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> | |

I have the solution for the problem. First of all, in the .xml file, UTF-8 should be replaced by iso-8859-1: Code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?> Than you replace all "é" by "é". |
