We're pleased to announce that 3.40.00 Release Candidate 1 is now available for download from the Members' Area (https://members.kayako.net). The proper file to download is the one marked '3.40.00 UNSTABLE.' If there are no major problems reported throughout the release candidate phase, we aim to release the stable version in around a week. Please report any problems you experience with this build in this forum (create a new thread to report a new issue): Alpha, Beta and Release Candidate Feedback - Kayako - Community Forums We would like to remind everyone that PHP 5.1.0 is a minimum requirement of your web server. 3.40.00 and future versions will not work on versions of PHP earlier than 5.1.0. See our system requirements page for more information. 3.40.00 Release Candidate 1 Notes:
Upgrade incentive offer We are offering a free month of support and upgrades to the first 16 self-hosted customers to update to 3.40.00 RC1. Emailed. So far so good, upgrade was smooth except that I accidentally overwrote config.php. 5 second fix though. |

Please note that PHP 5.2.7 has been recalled due to a known security hole in the PHP distribution. If you're upgrading, make sure it's to 5.2.8 or 5.2.6; you must not use 5.2.7 on your server.
