Ticket options pushed RIGHT in ticket reply - 02-03-2009, 09:02 PM

Replying to a ticket, using a very high resolution setup (1920x1200 on 27" monitor) notice how the fields are slid to the right in the attached image.

Jamie,

What file would this be in so I can tinker with the HTML?

/modules/tickets/staff_viewticket.php

Search for the word "Quick", it should take you straight to the area. For some reason, IE isn't honouring the fixed cell width (all other browsers are).

You can verify my fix using a DiffMerge system line 475 and down a few lines for that section. Basically I removed the width=100 and for the top row (TD) I set the right elements width to 100% and added a noWrap on the Quick Insert cell.

P.S. This works in my browser (IE 7) at very high rez.

I've committed a fix for it. Kayako Bug Tracker - Viewing Issue #982 - Ticket info table when (staff) viewing a ticket expands in IE (does not obey fixed width)

Similar approach to yours. Thanks for digging in.

Want me to verify your fix? Attach the file if you want me to try it out.
