Will Kayako support a copy and paste function for users to paste a screenshot of the problem

Are you talking about the customers who will submit tickets? If so, they need to do that themselves. A web based application would not be able to help them do this.

If your talking about staff, I recommend Screenie - Screen Capture Utility as it will allow your staff to take a screenshot and paste the URL into the ticket.

Also, Windows can take screenshots by hitting ctrl-printscreen or alt-printscreen, then pasting into any image editor, such as paint, which is shipped with windows.

Admittedly, I like screenie too - it handles the saving, the cropping and the uploading automagically, and it's written by a friend of mine - just saying, you don't actually need to install new software (it's just a good idea and convenient.)

Pretty sure Macs can open-apple printscreen, or something like that, too.

Jing is a nice tool. I'll have to look at Screenie.

100% of View to apply to Filter - 18-12-2008, 06:46 PM

Basically I want 100% of a View to be applied to a filter. Right now the displaying of the columns applies to the filter but the 'Assigned To Me' rule does not. I have created some filters for HOT issues that need to be worked on and I want my uses to be able to click on that Filter and based on the View they are using, be able to see just the items assigned to them within that filter. I do not want to to have to create a seperate filter for each user.

There is one problem I found with Screenie on my extended display which was it took a screenshot of the full display rather than a single window which works great for me in HyperSnap.
