E-mail Ban WHITE LISTING - 02-09-2008, 12:32 PM

Unfortunately due to phishing schemes, etc. we from time to time end up doing a ban/delete which has our own domain used. We end up blocking our own mail from this process. We need a WHITE LIST that overrides banning, etc. so we can enter e-mail addresses, IP addresses, etc. that are white listed regardless of bans. This will prevent a staff from performing a ban that ends up blocking our own e-mail accounts.

I agree - we'll see about adding this in a V3 release.

Or simply a rule that prevents banning your own mail queues? (Or in addition to white listing features)

Any update on this request? I'm using version 3.30.01 and don't see where this white list feature is.

Thanks,
Eric

This hasn't been implemented yet

Thank you for the quick reply. Can you please tell me where the feature request in your bug tracking system for this is? I couldn't find it by searching.

I imagine that most users do not know that their customer service email addresses are being banned. I strongly suggest making this feature a higher priority than the number of requesters in these forums have indicated.

Thanks,
Eric

It hasn't been scheduled yet, so it isn't in the tracking system. This thread will be updated if and when it is.

Thanks,

Jamie isn't saying it won't be implemented - this hasn't been decided yet, just to be clear.
