Branding free and additional domain price changed - 25-08-2008, 07:01 PM

Just found out today, the price changed significantly. It is 100% more than it was before.

Is it possible to know the reason behind the change?

I am kind of frustrated, since I have planned it for a while, but just not execute it, I really didn't expect price change so much.

I was also rather annoyed. ALL price increases should be announced with a date they will be introduced so people have a chance to purchase before the increase.

One wonders if they informed resellers either so they could update prices. See fxhstore.com : Cheap Web Host Software!

Hi Peter,

I am sorry to hear you had planned on purchasing the additional domain license until the price increase.

You may be interested in reading this thread about the subject: Branding Option

The price was increased due to general rising costs of staffing and resources. However, none of our core license prices changed. The additional domain license (at $199.95) still presents very good value, allowing you to receive what is a secondary license for less than half price.

If you would like to discuss this further, I would be happy to hear from you. My e-mail address is in my signature.

Thanks,

We're paying for that new office, while we still can't get ticket history in staff emails.

I am also a little frustrated that the price increase was not announced. We were purchasing Kayako by the end of August for a September launch, but suddenly, the unbranded price skyrockets without notice.

I am personally under the opinion that the price should be reversed for a week because of the situation with an announcement made properly...

Personally believe Kayako should have emailed existing customers and posted on forums saying pricing will increase on X date, give say a month to 2 week's notice.

Adopt a no discounting policy on current pricing and I'd say for the period of time before pricing increases Kayako would have seen the biggest increase in sales they've ever seen

Yep, common business practice. This is actually the third time this has happened I think...

I am sorry that you missed your chance to buy at the previous price. We will ensure that our customers are given notice.

I cannot see in this thread what you would have requested I do for you?

If you are referring to:

Then no, I am afraid we won't be doing that.
