Client Support Center Intergration? - 12-03-2007, 03:09 PM

Hi,

We like the look of Kayoko and the email management features is what is key. Is it essential we use the "Client Support Center"? Or can we just have Kayoko piping the emails? Does anyone use Kayoko like this?

The reason I think of using it like this is because "Client Support Center" will be hard to intergrate due to the design and also the need for a email\password as we already have a user\pass on the site currently.

well yes you can do it this way... Just don't tell anyone the support center url.... and then edit the responders so that it doesn't respond with the email/password/url.

Hi,

Yes I suppose we could do that! Does anyone else do this?

Also is it possible to reply to tickets from outlook so Kayoko is more of a "middle man"? Much prefer using outlook to send\recieve than web-based systems.

Also if we look at the hosted version does Kayoko backup all details in the event Kayoko servers fail?

Thanks

Yes, you just have to assign yourself Ticket Alerts under:
Staff CP > Tickets > Alerts

I suppose they do take a back up.

Hi -
Backups are handled at the client level. When you log into your membership area, there is an option to perform a backup which you save locally.

That provides you an option to download the back up. It does not mean Kayako does not backup the data
