Custom input fields

I like the fact that I can create custom input fields for user tickets. This really helps route a ticket.

However, in my case, this eliminates the need for the "Message Details" and "Subject" parts of the input form since I can have custom-named fields to get the information I need. Is is easy to do a way with "Message Details" and "Subject"? If it is a simple php change I can probably do it.

You don't have to edit the PHP code. You can accomplish this by editing the correct template. I would just replace the Message Details and Subject fields with a hidden field and submit a space og some kind of "blank/empty" data.

Thanks, i'll try that. I did notice "Subject" is used in email replies and ticket tables, so a little experimantation is in order.
