Hi there
A client of ours has expressed interest in using Kayako as the support centre for a software product that they sell. They have a few specific requirements though and after a quick look through the manual and this forum I haven't been able to tell if Kayako does them or not.
The features in question are:
1. The client wants their customers to only have access to certain parts of the Kayako depending on which group they belong to. For instance all the people who have Version 1 of the software should only be able to access knowledge base articles relating to Version 1 of the software. Or perhaps only those with Version 2 of the software would be able to post to the forum in the Version 2 thread. Does Kayako support this granular style of permissions for customers (not staff or administrators)?
2. The client is only planning to update the knowledge base once a quarter but expects that the updates will be quite extensive. Does Kayako feature a bulk upload function to streamline updates of this type?
