Disabling Login All Together - 03-12-2007, 04:14 AM

Hello I use a billing panel called Client Exec. The panel has a support system, but it lacks many of the features I need.

In Client Exec there is a way to add files as snap ins. Basically what it does is embed the file in the Client Exec theme, and also only make it accessible if you are logged in.

I would like to embed Kayako Esupport into ClientExec. Is there a way I can disable Kayako's login, and have one of my developers code something that links certain users to users in Kayako?

Basically the point here is to have users be able to login to view support tickets by just logging into billing, and having them avoid loggin in twice.

Please note I have two professional developers that can help with this integration, as I understand it would obviously take customizing, just want to see if this is possible from the kayako end of things before I drop 300 bucks.

Thanks in advanced

You can use Kayako's LoginShare feature which would allow your ClientExec users to use their existing username/password in Kayako.

I think what he is after is similar functionality to that of ModernBill / WHMCS. This isn't current possible.

If enough interest is shown though, Kayako may consider it. I doubt if you could do it yourself as swift.php is encoded and you need access to this file to add some code to do the integration.

I wouldn't be interested in using a login share, because still my users would have to login again.

But yea I guess it seems it would not work to my needs, I will look else where, but thanks anyways.

This is possible with development and customization work; however, it would not be something we support or a feature that we offer to you out-of-the-box. The only inbuilt option for you is the LoginShare, I am afraid.
