Exclamation Does it need esupport? - 14-09-2008, 12:43 PM

Hi,
I would like to ask if this script "live response" will need esupport suite to be installed on my website to get it to work?!! or it just can work as a stand alone script?

Hi shopies,

You can get up and running with LiveRepsonse without eSupport (so yes - as a stand-alone installation).

Here is a run-down of the modules:

Non-standard modules:
  • Tickets module: ticketed support with e-mail integration.
  • Live Support module: live chat via your end-user’s web browser.
Standard modules (comes with all products):
  • Knowledgebase module: knowledge (article-based) repository management.
  • Troubleshooter module: configure step-by-step, guided troubleshooters for your end-users.
  • Downloads module: a simple yet effective file repository, integrated into the support desk.
  • News module: manage and publish news via the support desk as well as manage a news subscription list.
  • Teamwork module: provides support agents with a set of rich productivity tools, available anywhere via the support desk (such as calender, contacts database and task list).
Kayako eSupport integrates all of the standard modules including the Tickets module.

Kayako LiveResponse integrates all of the standard modules including the Live Support module.

Kayako SupportSuite integrates all of the standard modules including both the Tickets and Live Support module.

WOW that was so quick. Thanks for the prompt response...
One more quiestion plz, As mentioned in one of the registered users previously that live response doesn't support ME languages like Arabic, have you done anything regarding that so far?!! Because this is a big issue for us as our clients would be Arabs..

There used to be issues with such languages and character sets, but we have resolved all of those in our latest version (by moving all of our character handling and encoding to Unicode).

Hello,
I'll had better try the trial license on my own web server as I'll work on that solution if I decided to buy the owned the license. I'll send an email right now and I hope to qet the same quick response from the sales department.
