To answer your questions... 1. Sort of. Piping is the term used, usually on Linux servers, to redirect the output of something (an email message) into a program. In the case of eSupport and SupportSuite, the body of the message is sent straight into the PHP program that processes it. It is never actually delivered into an email account on the host mail server. 2. Yes, all emails coming into that email address are redirected into the processing program. They never hit an email mailbox on your server, so they would not be able to be retrieved using Outlook or any other client. 2(b). They could not view them in Outlook due to the message never actually getting deposited to an email account on your server. Thus there is not email message for Outlook to retrieve. 3. Set up a separate Mail Parser Email Queue in the SupportSuite / eSupport Admin area for each of the email addresses you wish to process. Each Email Queue can have different departments or they can all be directed to the same department if you like.
