| Extent of Japanese Language Capability -

Hello,
We've just signed up for the trial and are thoroughly impressed with the interface. We're about ready to purchase eSupport, but I just wanted to ask a couple of pre-sales questions.
1. Are there any issues running eSupport with Japanese? A quick search for Japanese terms in the ticket text don't seem to work (advanced search in the Subject field works). Also InstantResponse doesn't seem to work but that could just be because there's not enough data in the KB yet.
2. Since the trial doesn't provide access to the source code -- are we able to change the encoding for emails to ISO-2022-JP (i.e. the source code for this is not encoded)? UTF8 generally works, but we find that some people can't view UTF emails properly (particularly yahoo webmail and hotmail users).
Either of these issues could be a deal breaker, but if there are workarounds we'd be happy. We have no problems editing the non-encoded portions of the PHP source.
Would appreciate any advise from Kayako or users with experience in double-byte languages. Thanks! |
