Question Hardware Requirements for 2 domains for about 120 users - 22-01-2008, 05:10 AM

hi,

we intend to purchase of the supportsuite. we are going to install for 2 domain for 2 different teams of customer service.

one team consists around 50 CS staff and another team consist of 20 cs staff concurrently accessing the system.

what would be the hardware requirement for this setup? can i install the software on the same server for 2 domains?

as for the additional support upgrades, do we buy for 2 domains or for just 1 piece of software?

Do you have an existing web server? SupportSuite may not require its own dedicated hardware, depending on your current server specification. However, any basic web server running at least 1GB of RAM and a fairly robust CPU (a Pentium, Xeon or Opteron) should be more than sufficient in this case.

As with all web applications, the more RAM and processing power you give a web server where the database is located, the faster it will run. Handling database queries is far more intensive than simple HTTP requests and downloads.

Once for all of your domains.

Yes you can. However, you would need to purchase additional domain licenses (at $99.95 each) for each additional domain.
