I'm looking to buy a license, but need some clarification... Does anyone know if you can now use KayakoMobile on Windows Mobile 5.0 'Smartphone' version, or when this capability may be available? I noticed the COO posted over a year ago that a Smartphone build would be provided, but I can't find any ref to its recent dev. http://forums.kayako.com/showthread.php?t=7795 Previously it was posted that the reason a build wasn't released was b/c the Smartphones didn't have the appropriate screen resolution and mentioned a minimum QVGA res. KayakoMobile Issue I would like to deploy this on a few Motorola Q's (which run at QVGA resolution) that are in use in my company, so this is a must-have for me. I did some searching on the forum and it looks like others want the feature also...so possibly they are already close to putting it out? Pretty please? ![]() -Bob |

It does work on mine but only because it has a touch screen and runs the PDA version of Windows Mobile. Which phone have you got? Mine is the T-Mobile MDA Vario II. If your phone isn't a touch screen one, you are correct, a new version for actual smartphone ones will be released. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

Hi there, I am afraid that KayaKoMobile is not available for Windows Mobile Smartphone, and requires the standard Windows Mobile (5 or 6) such as that featured on a Dell Axim, Treo 750, HTC Kaiser etc. I will ask the KayakoMobile developer if any near plans are possible for a smart phone edition. I doubt this, however - as a lot of the interface would have to change to compensate for not having a touch screen. -------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought I read in a topic that one was planned for standard smartphones (post by Ryan - will try to dig it up)? Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

At some point in the future it is likely that we will have a Smartphone port of KayakoMobile. I can't say when as we have lots of things on our plate at the moment. -------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi there, KayakoMobile will work with Windows Mobile 6 Professional and Windows Mobile 6 Classic. It will not work with Windows Mobile 6 Standard (aka Smartphone). -------------------------------------------------------------------
