Knowledge Base Languages - 12-09-2008, 04:29 PM

Hi there,

We are very interested in this product, but would like to know the following:

1.) We have two web sites and require separate corporate identities for the support site
2.) We have 4 different languages and would like to offer our customers the option to select their language and offer the Knowledge Base articles ONLY in their languages.

Is this possible with this product?

Both your requirements can be met using the "template groups" feature of Kayako. Search the forums and Kayako helpdesk for "satellite helpdesk".

It's best to ask presales questions to the sales staff in a sales ticket; the forums are not monitored by Kayako staff.

1) Yes, you can set up satellite desks or buy separate domain licenses.

2) Yes, the desk is multi-language. To offer knowledgebase articles in only their languages, you would make a new version of each KB article for each language, and bind them to a template group for each language.

The sales staff can walk you through the process in more detail if you open a ticket.

I have done this. But when I change my language to "duch" (non default Language, do I not get the knowledgebase in Dutch.
