Migration / Implex Cerb4 to Kayako - 05-03-2009, 01:47 PM

Hi all!

We wanna use Kayako Suite. But we're using currently Cerberus Helpdesk Version 4. Kayako Implex scripts only support migration/convertion up to version 3.

Can anybody help us to convert our existing Cerb4 Database to Kayako? Maybe, has anybody already modified implex script for Cerberus Version 4 to Kayako?

Thanks for helping!

Tom

Contact sales (http://support.kayako.com) and tell them you want this before you purchase. They should be able to help.

Hi Tom,

Welcome to the forums. It is great to hear you're looking at switching over to SupportSuite.

Unfortunately we don't have Impex script for Cerb4, nor has one been made available by a community developer. If your purchasing decision hinges on importing your old data, please e-mail me (address in my signature) and I'll discuss this with you.

They won't, there is no Cerb4 impex script available.

Hi Jamie!

What meens "They won't"? Of course, I'll buy SupportSuite if anybody can help out to convert data from cerb4. I would pay maybe something extra for the conversion...

I am currently running trial, but cannot modify the implex script byself because of Zend. I had a look at the kayako database structure, but it's very complex.

However: cerb4 and cerb3 database are very similar. I think it's not a new job, only a modification for existing scripts.

I know there isn't - in the past, though, if people were only going to purchase if an importer was made, the importer has been made if you look back at posts here in presales questions.

Hi

At the moment, no Cerb4 migration is available - or does I misunderstand?

That is correct, yes. One would need to be created.
