MS SQL and / or Replication

Hi,

We are investigating if the support suite can fill our demands. Till know everything looks very surprising, but we still have 2 problems (at the moment) J.

Let me explain the current situation:

We have 2 different Support Desk departments which are also physical on a different place. We both have different customers. Together we serve around 75.000 people who use our software programs and / or our hardware services. For some customers our software is mission critical.

With that in mind I want to know the following:

1) Can run SupportSuite on MS – SQL, and if the answer is no:
a. Why not
b. Will it be possible in the future?

2) Is it possible to use some replication service with SupportSuite?

Let me elaborate:
We have a department in the south of the Netherlands and one in the middle.
We both want to run the SupportSuite on an internal server, and we want that the SupportSuite is available for our customers thru a server in Amsterdam.
This way we all have the fastest connection to the SupportSuite application.
Is it possible to get the same information on server A, B and C at the same time?

Number 2 is very important for us.

I apologize if my English is not very clear, but forgive me I’m from the Netherlands ;-), if I’m not clear, just ask.

1) Not currently but it will be supported in V4 as V4 will use ADODB.
2) Not out of the box but I imagine it could be done with some custom coding. If you are after somebody to do this, check the market place board here on the forum for a development company.
