Lo chaps.

Is there a way to modify the reports, or to create my own reports ? Particularly we need to be able to generate a report each month of all the tickets created by contacts within a specified company.

I would also like to create a report of tickets related to certain issues, ie backups, printing etc. We would be using this to support a product, and it would be good to be able to sit down and discuss what issues have been showing up for the various elements.

Kayako is working on a Reports module which will not only provide extensive stats but will also allow you to run custom reports although no ETA for this feature is yet available.

Anyone from Kayako got anymore info on this? This is a real deal breaker for me, without some decent reporting tools I'll be looking elsewhere!

As far as I know, Kayako are working on a report-module.

But it's possible to make your own customized reports by quering the database. If you're not familiar with PHP and MySQL, perhaps softair or supportskins can help ?

I remember Varun saying in the forum that they wanted to do a report module a year or so ago, but I don't think anything has been mentioned publicly by Kayako since then. I would suspect that it has not actively been worked on.

I'm still waiting on v2 features that Varun put on his todo list when v3 was still in beta two years ago. That should give you a time frame on which you can judge implementation time
