Ability to select multiple Registered User Groups under a single Template Group - 03-02-2009, 04:57 PM

One more idea of future system enhancement is the following: we would like to be able to register more than one User Group for a single Template Group. The matter is that in our current configuration User Groups are used to join several Users of one company-customer (since ther is no idea of such attribute as 'Company' in the system). Well, now we need to assign common attributes to several User Groups (i.e. several companies), to be more precise, we wish to split all the User Groups into two big cathegories.
The only way of doing it now is to create the same quantity of template groups with similar options. It could work fine if we had 5, 10 or 20 user groups (=customers), but we currently have more than 270 of them, so creating 270 template groups instead of 2 of them is kinda troublesome.
That what makes us post this feature request.

+1 from me.

Would be good to change 'Registered User Group' to 'Registered User Groups'. So allowing a template group to only be accessed by users from a set of user groups.
