Angry Client side ticket sorting - 01-05-2007, 10:16 PM

Well, I work with kayako as a client and also as helpdesk.
As helpdesk Im not having much problems but, as client I can say that sorting ticket system has no common sense at all.

Older tickets come first, and newest at last. When I try to access a ticket support already answered, I have to go to the last page, and review between all tickets that still on hold.

The older method u have in last version was better. At least there should be a selector to choose which method we prefer.

Dear Zoe,

You can dictate how you want the system to show tickets. The way to do this is to go into the ticket list, click "Views", click "New View" and specify the options for that new view. The view you just created will then show up on the "Views" list from then on and you can select to have that as your default view.

Doesn't this feature already exist? I thought you could choose the display order of the support centre from the ticket settings in admin. Unless this feature is to allow the user to choose which view they want.

The request is probably aimed at being able to click on a column header to sort by that column.
