Documentation Update

One thing we (as many of you has pointed out) have missed out on since the launch of Version 3 of our product lineup is comprehensive
documentation of our products.

However, over the last eight weeks we have been openly developing documentation for our entire line of products, providing regular previews of each in the Documentation forum http://forums.kayako.com/f38/. So far, we have (at a near-publication ready stage) the…

• SupportSuite Staff Control Panel user manual
• LiveResponse Client Application user manual
• InstaAlert user manual

…content completed and available for download. Currently in development, we have…

• Kayako Mobile user manual
• Client Support Interface user manual (which can also be distributed to your clients)

The three so-far completed manuals make up well in the excess of 30,000 words and 500 diagrams. Feedback received has so far been very good.
We are hoping to have the rest of the manual lineup ready, in a content complete stage within two weeks time. After careful proof reading and fine tuning, the documents will be continuously maintained and updated for each stable build of our products.

Following completion of this “first round” of documentation, we mill make available an online and user-contributable Wiki version of our product documentation. The Wiki will provide a direct and instantly searchable interface to the manuals, and any user contributed feedback will be cycled back into the main user manuals – constantly improving the quality and thoroughness of the documents.
