Version 3.1.1.21 of the LiveResponse/SupportSuite Windows client application includes fixes for three major issues:
- If an instance of the application was already running, starting a second instance would hang the new copy
- Restarting the application (e.g. through functionality or settings that need it to be restarted to take effect) would sometimes cause a crash
- A resource leak in the spell checker sometimes caused erratic behaviour when handling a new chat
And a minor issue:
- The client would send NetBIOS requests (UDP packets on port 137) to site visitors. (Although not a bug per se, it has been changed at the request of the users.)
Over the past week we’ve worked hard to eliminate all of these bugs, and the effort has resulted in a much more stable and reliable application. It’s recommended that all users of the last stable release upgrade to this build as soon as possible:
