As bugs are fixed and new features are added to our product lineup, it starts to become a hassle to update to the latest version of each application. We’re planning a system to bring that hassle to a minimum, and to bring the benefits of fixes and features to all our customers. The automatic update system will keep track of all of the Kayako products you’ve got installed, and each time they’re used, it’ll check for updates on our servers. If a new version is found, you’ll be given a list of what’s new and a choice of whether to upgrade. Upgrades will be performed automatically by downloading the appropriate installer. Edit: Sorry, I should have clarified a bit. This will be for our Windows applications, not the server-side software. Got any suggestions, questions, or comments?
