We have finally finished the automated impex system to import all of our v2 users onto our new clustered v3 hosting system. We would like to apologize for the delays caused but we had to change a lot of code and write a command line based import system from scratch to get this working. The new system also allows us to import data from third party products like Cerberus, SupportTrio, PerlDesk or DeskPro into our hosted applications. Let me proceed by explaining the process in detail and how you should go about getting your data imported. 1) You will need to first check that all of your payments for current hosted account are up to date. We will not import any defaulting account. 2) Email sales AT kayako.com mentioning your current v2 hosted domain, FuturePay ID and request a $4.95 discount coupon to bring the pricing in level with what you pay for your existing account. 3) Once done, You will need to order v3 Hosted from https://members.kayako.net, The domain name *will* change and we no longer support TLD's due to limitations fo our automated system. We would have liked the move to be as seamless as possible but the current limitations restrict us from doing so. 4) Once the new hosted account is up and running, Please update your original ticket with confirmation to proceed with the import. 5) The import process should be done within 1-2 business days depending upon queue load. The previous domain will be disabled with IMMEDIATE effect as soon as the data is imported. ############################ How to avoid loss of emails during upgrade ############################ It is recommended you move to POP3 email account before the impex to avoid any loss of emails, You can simply fetch the queued emails once your new account is up and running.
