What's an ALPHA build?

Some of you may have noticed that some of the builds available on the hotfix server (http://hotfix.kayako.com/) have "ALPHA" in the file name.

These builds are actually test builds and are not actually intended for public distribution.

The "ALPHA" builds are placed on the hotfix server so that Official Kayako Testers may download and test them, ensuring that the new features and bug fixes have been properly implemented.

After the testers have vigorously tested the "ALPHA" builds, they will be marked as stable and released to the public.

You may download the "ALPHA" builds if you are feeling adventurous and would like to participate in testing. However, we make no guarantee that the software will work correctly if at all.
