The mod works, just tried it. Download the file from Mopa's post and once you unzip it how to implement the mod should be self explanatory.

The search file goes in the root. The javascripts folder is copied to the root. The rest of the files are found in their respective folders.

Finally gave this a try with the latest CVS for 3.11.02. Very nice. Just a couple notes from me:

The nav bar search seems to work fine. However, the included navbar.tpl needed some work to make it look right, and to prevent the search box from showing when nobody is yet logged on. It took bloody well forever to get that right. Use my version, attached--or at least look at how I nest the hack in an <{if}> statment.

Note that I insert a new language phrase ticketsearch (= "Search in Tickets") and use the code <{$language[ticketsearch]}> in the template.

The dropdown filter on the ticket list page, however, does not function for me at all; I just get a screen refresh. I got rid of the Go button like others did, put the placement of the menu also leaves a lot to be desired. It would look a lot better on the same level as the pagination links at the top of the ticket list. I fiddled with that a bit but could get it to sit right. I hope someone else can fix this.
Attached Files
File Type: txt navbar.tpl.txt (7.5 KB, 14 views)

Shows OTHERS TICKETS! - 15-04-2008, 03:49 AM

This seems to be working EXCEPT it shows all the other end user tickets, not just the tickets belonging to the user that is logged in.

I didn't see anything that would have broken this??? anyone else see this too?

To search for any ticket, modification will need to be done to the viewticket code. There is 3 if statements in their that would need to be commented out.
