| Communicating with the eSupport -

Hello everyone,
I have read about a XML-RPC interface that the support suite has in some form. What might be the status of it? According to some posts I found in this forum, it is somewhat unimplemented...
We have a rather specific need for a web application running on a Java application server to be able to communicate with our Kayako eSupport. This ability to communicate would mean at least the ability to create new tickets with the Java web application with means other than e-mail. The Java web application should be able to fetch the available departments, ticket priorities and other fields from our eSupport, and be able to generate a new ticket from these elements.
So I was wondering if someone else has or has had similar needs and would like to share their experiences. I would also like to know whether it is possible to bend Kayako eSupport to our needs without unreasonable amount of tinkering. |
