Creating a new Login Module - 01-06-2006, 02:28 PM

I'm about to purchase the Suite, but I'm wondering what the process is for getting the source code once you've made the purchase so that I can develop a login module that integrates with Helm Control Panel.

I notice people making modifications and customizations, but I'm assuming based on the requirements for ionCube that's it's all encoded. So how do you become a "developer" so you can develop and create your module?

only in owned version - 01-06-2006, 10:52 PM

from what the site reads (and i know it works) that in the owned version everything is visible in the sense of the .php files except the liscensing and "swift" source which is the 1% they wont give. I've been able to do a ton of modifications to my source just by getting the gist of what they are doing with their variables as they go along.

So do you think with what you have, you could possibly create a login module? Alter where it checks it's credentials from?

If you buy the owned version you get all the source code you need (99%). It's not that hard to create a login module.
