Hi Can someone tell me which table the text for 'desc_request' is held in, or if it is help in a php page, which page?

On our Support Desk home page, we simply have the Login box, plus the Register link with some descriptive paragraph text under the link. I want to reformat some of the text so that users dont miss it.

Which text do you want to edit? All the text you see in the Client Support Center are generated from the language phrases seen under:
Admin CP > Languages

yes, I see that. However what i need to do is to put some HTML formatting around it so that I can bold, and put a line break etc.

if the text is held in the SQL database, i can enter what I need there, else if i can find the right template page, i can senter it there.

problem is at the moment, i cant find either

You can do that by editing the respective phrases also
