EU character problems in email subject

Hello,

i switched to ISo charset and the german umlauts äöü etc are displayed correctly. But not so in the subject of emails (Autoresponder, News subscription confirmation mail, etc.)

Does somebody know where i can fix this problem?

Hello all,

I have the same problem, with the actual stable 3.11.01. The subject in the Ticket properties field shows the german umlauts äüö correctly, but they will be deleted an the subject of every reply email.

I have tested the same with the hosted kayako trial system, here all is working fine :-?

tberlin has posted this issue a few months ago? Has anyone a solution?

Try editing the encoding and the charset in the /locale/en-us/en-us.php file
