Extracting Data - 14-12-2007, 10:03 AM

Hi there,
I am wondering if it is possible to extract data from support suite on a weekly basis.
If so, would it be in csv format?
Thanks

Which sort of data are you wanting to extract? Tickets? Users?

Hi Craig,
mainly would be tickets (i.e. closed weekly; opened weekly; opened/closed by who; time/date opened/closed; etc).
Users extraction is my second concern.
Thanks

You would be able to do this by querying the MySQL database. There is no current functionality to do it although reporting to do this is planned for V4.

You use a tool such as phpMyAdmin.

This would be something to ask your web host. If you are using cPanel or Plesk to manage your hosting account, then it is likely you will use phpMyAdmin (via Plesk or cPanel) to manage your databases.

How would I do this with a 'Hosted' version of Kayako?

Hi Timetabler,

Direct access to your hosted account is not available on hosted services, I am afraid.
