This has not yet been attempted, I requested the database dump from one of the users. If you can forward it to me at varun[at]kayako.com then I can possibly attempt to integrate it.

Regards,

Varun Shoor

Varun,

I e-mail you as well as SWsoft and hopefully they will be getting in touch so they can work directly with Kayako on this solution.

Mindfly,

I've done a fair bit of work on this already, including working with sw-soft.
There's some cool stuff in V3.2 of HSPC that helps here but I suspect it won't be exactly what you are looking for. There is a way to set custom scripts to run in HSPC based on specific events such as "new person create" or "account cancellation".

I'm working on scripts to update the required db's to create accounts matching user accounts in HSPC. It's not complicated. However, I've been trying to get some useful feedback from kayako before I buy support suite. I'm afraid they don't seem all that interested. I'm now putting the effort into supporting Cerberus. It is worth putting your time into the custom events in HSPC as that'll get the door open to lots of integration.

I agree creating a loginshare would be more elegant but there is almost no way you'll get this done without input from sw-soft. I'd bet you you'll eventually see LoginShare support for HSPC just not very soon. Anyhow, given the replies from kayako and cerberus it was no brainer to decide where my $'s go. Hard lines on kayako, i'd have paid to get this done and I'd have got help from sw-soft too.

-good luck
Andy

Greetings, Varun!

I've tried hard to contact you through your support staff, but they appeared to refuse helping me. Unfortunately, your PM box is full, so I have to write here. Please, take a look at the ticket for details:
http://support.kayako.net/index.php?...ticketid=80038

I am Nikita Dedik of SWsoft. HSPcomplete has got feature requests for integration between our Product and Kayako's SupportSuite. Our company is open for communication. As far as I see, you are ready to discuss the technical details. I've got several ideas for us to reach reciprocal benefits. Please, contact me by e-mail (see my profile or ticket details).

Thank you! Hope to hear from you soon!

Any update on this?

HSPc complete with SupportSuite would be insane indeed. Apparently SWSoft has started OpenFusion for 3rd party integration. I would have bought SupportSuite already if it had support for OpenFusion.

Just checking the waters here before making a commitment.

Varun PM'd me and said that he had been in e-mail contact with SWSoft (this was on 11/8) but I just logged in and saw it today. I asked for an update and will post to this thread if I hear anything.

Thanks!

I'm sure if Varun and SWsoft reach an agreement, he will announce it after the terms between both parties are finalized.

Hi
here is the lowdown on this.

We are a big HSPc customer and have repeatedly pushed for this integration. We need to run several instances of kayako so there would be some value in doing this for kayako.

However, the developers at sw-soft tell me they have had no success in contacting kayako.

So, actually nothing is happening. As a rule SW-Soft are very responsive with stuff like this -I've got integration into most things I need quite quickly and usually pretty well integrated too. I asked for cerberus integration a month ago when it became clear this easn't happening. I have it.

If kayako won't reply here, or to my repeated requests or even to sw-soft then I wonder really what kind of support I can expect after I buy their product.

There is still a chance I'll buy it.. but they need to start responding to me.

Let's see - up to you Varun.

-A
