The user is not correct.

craigbrass is not a staff member, and does not know the exact details of everything being worked on by our developers. Kayako does have more than one developer, but the list Craig posted can certainly not be done by one person for a large clientbase.

We are hoping to have integration features similar to those seen in our Modernbill integration, but we have no finite details on that yet because our developer is still learning WHMCS. Here is a link to progress thus far: http://forums.kayako.com/showpost.ph...9&postcount=42

I thought this was something Adam was going to complete himself?

Odd, i was told by the owner of solidhost that he was the one that created that integration, not you. Hmmm...

I apologize for sounding so pessimistic, but i have been misled by kayako staff members more times than i can remember.

It is a requirement that my company uses kayako, so I really dont have a choice in who/what i use for my helpdesk. I just find it to be a huge pain to manage a helpdesk and a billing solution. The client side integration is pretty easy and i am not worried about that. i am more worried about the admin side of things and being able to easily access client data that is stored in the billings system, but needs to be available from the helpdesk area as well.

Of course it'll be a pain. Accessing two different scripts rather than just accessing the one is!!

It says as much in my signature *winks*

The list I posted was actually from one you posted a few weeks ago. I was just posting it here.

This thread has deviated far from it's original purpose, which was to track progress with the WHMCS integration project. A lot of discussion and speculation that does not belong in this thread has been posted, so I am going to lock the topic and move important and relevant posts out into a new thread.

The important points for those wanting to know what the status is so far:
  1. We have only been working on the integration for a number of months.
  2. We are working in conjunction with WHMCS - who have done one 'stage', now we will do another and so on.
  3. We have received everything we need from WHMCS.
  4. The project is still going, and Mahesh is working on it with the consult of Varun.
  5. Here are screenshots of overall progress so far: http://forums.kayako.com/showpost.ph...9&postcount=42
  6. More updates will be posted as and when we have them.
And some notes on why we are not turning this project around immediately:
  1. We are classing this as an additional functionality request; not a bug fix or missing design feature/flaw (to which we give priority).
  2. We have a huge number of things to work on at the moment that do take a higher priority than this integration project - this is not going to change. We are sorry to those who have been waiting a long time, but you will have to wait a little longer.
Thank you for your patience.
